A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State has rejected what it described as unconstitutional attempts to take over the party’s leadership. Members of the group accused some politicians of trying to hijack the structure through backdoor arrangements.
In a statement, the faction insisted that due process must guide leadership transitions and internal party affairs. They warned that any attempt to impose leaders would be resisted by loyal members.
The crisis underscores the growing tension in the state ahead of the next electoral cycle.
