Ahmad said although he had not followed the case closely in the past, he was convinced after watching Marley’s recent detailed narration that the artiste was unfairly blamed. He praised Marley for backing up his claims with messages, calls, videos and dates that, according to him, painted a clearer picture of the events leading up to Mohbad’s death.
The former aide described Marley’s habit of keeping thorough records as a blessing, noting that such documentation can shield people from false accusations and public condemnation. He added that those who rushed to accuse the singer now owe him an apology.
Ahmad also applauded Marley’s courage in finally speaking up despite the difficulty of defending him earlier. He stressed that hearing both sides of the story has changed his own view, admitting he too would have wrongly judged the singer without the new evidence.
While urging the public to weigh the facts for themselves, Ahmad prayed for Mohbad’s soul to continue to rest in peace, even as the debate over his tragic passing lingers.
